Glacier National Park’s glaciers, Montana

According to the ecologist Daniel Fagre, the majestic glaciers inside Glacier National Park are quickly turning into “small insignificant lumps of ice on the landscape.” Many glaciers have already disappeared. Originally there were 150 glaciers and in 1910 most of them still remained. But by 2010, only 25 glaciers covered 25 acres or more !
